BBSP delegation meets ex-president

1-oct-dhanbad-1A delegation of Jharkhand Bangla Bhasha-Sanskriti Parishad, Dhanbad unit meet with ex-president of India Pranab Mukhrjee at his paternal residence at Bolpur (WB) on
Saturday.
The members of the Parishad handed over a memorandum to Mukhrjee stating about the alienated attitude of the Jharkhand’s government towards the Bangala language despite having 42 percent population participation in the state.
The members also asked Mukhrjee to intervene in establishing Ravindra Bhavan in other districts of the state and for the establishment of a Bangla Academy at Ranchi. The member of the delegates including the State President of the Parishad Ajay Mukhopadhyay and Secretory Sameer Mukhrjee also presented a flower buckeye and a memento to the ex-president who assured to have a talk with the state chief minister Raghubar Das on the issue.
