Bihar state govt to bear COVID-19 vaccination cost at private hospitals

JNS: Bihar state government has decided to bear the cost of Covid-19 vaccination at private hospitals in the state. This decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

On Monday Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was administered Covid 19 vaccine in Patna.

Official sources said, registration for the new phase of vaccination will begin at 10 am today. It could be done in three ways – self online registration, on-the-spot registration and cohort registration in which Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and local representatives will be roped in to mobilise a large number of people.

During online registration, people can only select the centre and time slot, said the official.
