“Chinmaya Smiles Back” offering ‘Vidya Vritti’ to help meritorious students

Bokaro: Chinmaya Vidyalaya of Bokaro is offering stipend to the meritorious and deprived students to continue their studies for +2 classes.

For the meritorious and deprived students who have passed 10 standards, ‘Vidya Vritti’ is available to continue their studies. ‘Vidya Vritti’, is run by the Chinmaya School Alumni Association— “Chinmaya Smiles Back” and the purpose of this organization is to help the meritorious and needy students who are not able to pay their school fees, informed Sanjeev Mishra a member of Chinmaya Smiles Back.

“Every year we offered 100 per cent fees, books and dress to two meritorious students under ‘Vidya Vritti’, for studying in class 11 and 12 on the basis of their marks obtained in class 10 and on their economic status,” added Mishra.

“Chinmaya Smiles Back” is started in 2009 when few alumni of Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro gathered together to establish the foundation of this institution and started a student stipend “Vidya Vritti”.

Now over 150 students of Chinmaya Vidyalaya are associated with this organization and supporting from different corners across the world. Richa Mitra (2011 – 2013), is one of them, she is presently doing her researcher at Ravindra Bharti University. She is not only providing financial help for this scholarship, but also use to guide the students in every means who got the scholarship, he said.
