Bokaro: To commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India, which was adopted on 26 November 1949, DPS Bokaro today celebrated the Constitution Day (National Law Day) also known as ‘Samvidhan Divas’ at its campus.
It’s worth mentioning that on 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26th January 1950.
In a special assembly convened today at DPS Bokaro the students led by the school Principal A. S. Gangwar along with their teachers took oath for becoming responsible citizens of the country and respect the Constitution in which Preamble, Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties are scripted.
On the occasion A. S. Gangwar urged the students to grow up to always remain responsible citizens of the country whose Constitution makers led by B.R. Ambedkar left no stone unturned in scripting one of the best Constitution of the world. “We the citizens of India take a pledge to learn and know more about our constitution and abide by the fundamental duties and rights enshrined in it,” stated Gangwar.
