Cultural Extravaganza- ULLAS (2021) concludes on a creative note at DPS Bokaro

JNS I Bokaro: To cultivate and exhibit the creative potentials of the students, DPS Bokaro  organized  the Cultural week- ‘Ullas’ that witnessed amazing talents of the students in visual and performing arts which concluded on 6th August, 2021 (Friday).

‘Ullas’ showcased the talents of the students in various events including Group Song, Group Dance, Tabla and Orchestra.

Day one witnessed two charismatic dance performances highlighting the rich folk culture of India in the form of ‘Lavani’ and ‘Rajasthani’ which stole the show.

The inspirational and melodious rendition of motivational song ‘Tu Zinda Hai’, presented by the students on day two in the form of group song along with the soulful ‘Sufi’ song ‘Tu Mane Ya Na Mane’ left the audience spellbound.

On day three, remarkable synchronization of rhythm and euphony in orchestral performance based on the Indo-western fusion and the performance of the students on tabla (TeenTaal) was a beat to retreat. The event concluded with an array of visual art presentations by students in the form of Rangoli, poster making and art installation and sculpture designing on day four.

Principal, DPS Bokaro, A. S. Gangwar expressed his delight at the enthusiastic participation of the students in the competition. He reiterated, “Music is the universal language of the soul that binds the world with happiness. It is indeed heartening to see our students participate.”

He also appreciated the beautiful stage decor and congratulated the teachers for their efforts in making the programme a grand success.
