Bokaro: Acknowledging the diligence and dedication of the students in the fields of scholastic and co-scholastic activities, Delhi Public School, Bokaro organised ‘Medha— The Prowess’ a special prize distribution ceremony on 20th January 2021 in the school campus.
The Chief Guest of the occasion was Prabhat Kumar, DIG, Coal Field Range.
Applauding the commendable feat of the students the Chief Guest said, “Life is not always the same and it takes unexpected twists and turns. Real success lies in learning from your failures and rising up again.”
He lauded the pioneering initiatives of the school to hone the creative potentials and ingenuity of the students in various fields.
Earlier the programme commenced with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony and the melodious rendition of the welcome song and the school song which was followed by the welcome address presented by the Head Girl Anoushka Mukherjee. The energetic moves of the synchronized dance performance on ‘Ganesh Utsav’, enthralled the audience.
The felicitation ceremony witnessed the excellence achieved by the meritorious, resolute and committed students. 80 students received awards for their outstanding achievements in various scholastic and co-scholastic areas. During the occasion the Annual Magazine- ‘DIPS Reflection’ and its E-Version was released by the Chief Guest.
Addressing the awardees as prodigies, the Principal DPS Bokaro, A.S.Gangwar said that mere knowledge is static. Wisdom, intelligence and vibrant thinking makes it alive and the school endeavours to bring out the intrinsic potential of every child through such programmes.
