JNS: DPS Bokaro swimmers won 9 bronze medals in different categories in 12 Jharkhand Junior and Sub-Junior Swimming Championship. The team comprised 13 students. The championship was held on 25th and 26th June at Bir Budhu Bhagat Aquatic Stadium, Khelgaon Ranchi. Around 205 swimmers of 17 districts of the state participated in the championship.
The students who brought laurels to their alma mater are: Pragyan Kumar – Bronze medal in 100 meter Backstroke, Aarav Kumar – Bronze medal in 50 meter Backstroke and 200 meter freestyle, Anushka Yashi – Bronze medal in 4 x 50 meter medley relay & 4 x 50 meter Freestyle relay, Ridhi Rajput- Bronze medal in 4 x 50 meter medley relay & 4 x 50 meter Freestyle relay, Shaili Priya- Bronze medal in 4 x 50 meter medley relay & 4 x 50 meter Freestyle relay.
