Bokaro: At least twelve students of DPS Bokaro emerged as the winners under various categories of competitions organized by ONGC; the competitions were organized for the students of Classes VI to XII and the results were declared on Thursday.
Aiming to emphasize and educate the students on the need and importance of conservation of Petroleum Products and Environment ONGC organsied competitions like Quiz, Painting, and Essay Writing was conducted for the students on the theme ‘Green and Clean Energy’ under ‘Shaksham 2021- Oil and Gas Conservation Awareness Drive’.
In the Quiz Competition – Ayushman Dutta bagged the first position while Kunal Anand and Amogh Anand Jha bagged the second and third positions. While in the painting competition, Khushi Bharati got the first position while Aayush Keshri and Aditya Kumar received the second and third positions.
In the English essay competition, Swastik Atharva bagged the first prize while Nikhil Kumar and Prakriti Sharma bagged the second and third prizes. In the Hindi Essay Competition, Samridhi Pratap Dubey won the first position while Pavni Kumar and Sweksha Sharma bagged the second and third positions, respectively.
Congratulating the winners, A.S. Gangwar Principal, DPS Bokaro, said that such competitions help students to gain a wider perspective about life. “It is essential for them to understand the importance of judicious use of the resources given to us by Mother Earth to ensure sustainable development,” he added.
