JNS I Bokaro: Consistent with its initiatives to save lives and contribute to society, ESL Steel Limited (a national steel player in the Vedanta Group), has delivered life-saving equipment and other supplies to the PSE Hospital in Chandankari.
ESL delivered life-saving and other medical equipment including Oxygen Flow Meters, Oxygen Concentrators, Pulse Oximeters, Water boilers, Wall-mounted Sanitizer Machines, Sanitizer Spray Machines, Hypochlorite Solutions and Hand Sanitizers to the PSE hospital, informed a Public Relations Official of ESL.
SDO Chas Bokaro, Shashi Prakash Singh appreciated the initiative taken by ESL and expressed gratitude towards the company during this time of crisis.
I appreciate the efforts of Vedanta ESL Steel Limited and its CSR Department for providing this life-saving equipment to PSE Chandankiyari during this challenging time of the coronavirus pandemic, said SDO during a media briefing.
“I acknowledge their support to district administration during the pandemic by supplying oxygen and constructing 100 bedded hospital to fight against COVID-19,” he added.
Ravish Sharma, Deputy COO, ESL Steel Limited, said, “ESL is working round the clock to meet Jharkhand state’s requirements in dealing with the pandemic. With this initiative, we have delivered some of the life-saving items required at PSE, Chandankari that will help to deal with the pandemic.
“Recently, we also supplied 350 oxygen regulators to the Sadar Hospital in Bokaro. On behalf of ESL Steel Limited, I would like to thank the district administration and these hospitals for showing faith in us. We will continue our fight until we can defeat the virus,” added Sharma.
Earlier, ESL supplied 1500 oxygen regulators to the Jharkhand Health Minister. Other than that, the company has been supplying liquid oxygen in Bihar and other states as well.
