It is necessary to overcome the reluctance to write in Hindi: Ajay

JNS I Bokaro: Hindi Pakhwada’ event, which had been arranged by the Official Language Implementation Sub-Committee of Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS)— a unit of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) concluded on Thursday.

During the event, the Chief Engineer and Project Head Ajay Kumar Dutta stated that although we are all comfortable speaking and understanding Hindi, we find it difficult to write in the language. Now is the time to overcome the hesitation to write in Hindi and perform some work in Hindi every day.

“It is necessary to overcome the reluctance to write in Hindi. At least we must sign in Hindi,” he added.

Dutta said, sports commentators once solely spoke English, but today they also do it in Hindi. The Hindi Proclamation is well-known; it (Hindi) connects people.

“Hindi is not utilised for formalities, but to satisfy us. When we work in Hindi, we will promote Hindi,” added Dutta.

Several events were organized during this fortnight and winners included Rajeev Ranjan Singha, Baldev Ram, Animesh Giri, Akshay Kumar, Nilesh Kumar, Basant Kumar Mohapatra, Laxmi Narayan Sahu, Pramod Kumar Jha, Taran Kumar Pandey, Nilesh Nimbhorkar, Shritam Kumar Vishoyi, Pintu Kumar Mahato, Pradeep Kumar, Karthik Kumar Mahato, Prakash Kumar, Ramji Rajak, Shailesh Kumar and members of the jury Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, Ranjit Kumar Nirala, Poonam Kumari were felicitated by Ajay Kumar Dutta, Chief Engineer and Project Head, Chief Engineer Sunil Kumar Pandey, Pawan Kumar Mishra and Additional Director Dilip Kumar.
