Section 144 implemented in J&K, satellite phones given to officials…!

New Delhi: Section 144 has been imposed in the entire Jammu and Kashmir from midnight. Curfew has been imposed in Kashmir Valley and Jammu. Political rallies have been banned. Major leaders of Jammu and Kashmir have been placed under house arrest. Which includes all the leaders including Omar Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti. Earlier more than 40 thousand additional security forces have been deployed in the state. Central security forces have been deployed in the police station.
Earlier on Sunday, Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with National Security Advisor of the country and high security officials of the country in the Parliament House. At midnight, cable TV, internet services, mobile services, broadband services have been discontinued in Jammu and Kashmir. The authorities have been given satellite phones. Meanwhile, all hotels in the state have been advised to be completely evacuated by 12 noon today. School-colleges have been closed. All examinations have been canceled. Among the chances of any major decision regarding the state, a decision has been taken in Jammu from 6:00 am on Monday to implement Section 144. Deputy Commissioner of Jammu district Sushma Chauhan has said that section 144 will be implemented from 6 am on 5th August, which will continue till the next order. The order has also been issued to keep mobile internet off in Jammu.
Mobile Internet services have been discontinued in Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, advances have been issued to keep precautionary closure of state and private schools. Apart from this, Section 144 has been imposed in Srinagar from midnight on Monday, which will continue till next order. During this time no rally or public meeting will be allowed. Also, all schools in the district will be closed.
According to the information issued by the Jammu and Kashmir administration, any public meetings and rallies will be prohibited from the date of issue of this order. The administration has clarified that curfew has not been imposed anywhere in the valley. Please tell that in a section of the media, news of curfew was broadcast in some areas of the valley, which the state administration has denied. Apart from this, the Jammu district administration has asked the administrations of all schools and colleges to keep them closed as a precautionary on Monday.
A number of mainstream bigwigs have been placed under house arrest in Kashmir amid unprecedented security and commotion. Officials said that this step has been taken in view of the situation of Jammu and Kashmir, where the deployment of security forces has been increased many times in the wake of danger threat. He said that earlier security has been tightened by deploying additional paramilitary forces including Rapid Action Force (RAF) in Jammu region, especially in the border Rajouri and Poonch districts. DC Raghav Langer of Kathua has said that it has been decided to close all the school-colleges and educational institutions in the district from 5th August. Which will continue till the next order.
