Bokaro: With the aim to reach out to the neediest, Samaj Hit Kalyan Samiti (SKS) team came out for a blanket distribution drive in the freezing night in Bokaro Steel City. Over hundreds of blankets were distributed by the team to help the under-privileged that cannot afford a blanket and do not have a roof for shed or cloth on their bare bodies.
A team of volunteers of SKS, led by Ram Pravesh Singh, President of the organisation identified such needy on road streets of Bokaro and distributed blankets among them. Our motto is to help the poor and serve the society, said Singh.
This joy of giving started from ASSAS Vidayala followed by Ram Mandir Market, City Center and other sectors of the city. The team was accompanied by Mritunjay Sharma, Manish Kumar, Yogo Purti, Sunil Purti, Pravin, Amod, Anil and other volunteers present there.
The drive kicked-off successfully with a commitment by team members to continue such practices in the future, he said.
