Dhanbad: IIT-ISM Dhanbad, in collaboration with South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Bilaspur, has launched a five-day Executive Development Programme (EDP) aimed at sharpening the project and financial management skills of SECL’s senior executives.
The training, being held from June 2 to 6, 2025, also integrates hands-on experience with advanced project management and simulation software.
The programme was inaugurated virtually by IIT-ISM Director Prof. Sukumar Mishra, alongside key officials from both institutions. Organized by the Department of Management Studies and Industrial Engineering (DMSIE), the EDP is led by coordinators Prof. Rashmi Singh and Prof. Niladri Das.
The curriculum is designed to equip participants with modern managerial tools and strategic decision-making skills, essential for efficient execution and financial oversight in complex industrial projects.
This initiative highlights the shared commitment of IIT (ISM) and SECL to fostering professional excellence and operational sustainability in India’s energy sector through innovation-driven learning.
