New Delhi: The Department of Posts is set to launch its advanced APT (Advanced Postal Technology) system in Delhi on Monday, marking a significant step toward smarter and faster postal services. The new digital platform promises improved user experience, quicker service delivery, and a more customer-friendly interface.
As part of the transition, the Ministry of Communications has announced a scheduled downtime at select post offices to ensure a smooth and secure implementation. Public transactions will remain suspended on Monday at key locations including Andrewsganj, CGO Complex, Defence Colony, East of Kailash, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Lodi Road, Lajpat Nagar, and Malviya Nagar.
Officials said the move underlines the government’s push for future-ready, efficient postal operations aligned with its broader digital transformation goals.
