Bokaro: Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro organized a comprehensive Career Guidance Fair on Saturday, aiming to broaden the horizons of senior secondary students and equip them with vital insights into a wide range of higher education and career opportunities.
Held in collaboration with ‘I Educationalize’, the event brought together representatives from prestigious universities across India — including Bengaluru, Pune, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Raipur, Bilaspur, and Mumbai — under one roof. They offered students valuable guidance on academic programs, career options, scholarships, and admission procedures.
The fair covered a vast array of fields beyond conventional choices like medicine, engineering, and civil services, highlighting emerging domains such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, multimedia, graphic designing, journalism, law, management, information technology, and design.
Career counsellors also conducted sessions focused on professional skill development, interview techniques, self-awareness, and personal growth, helping students make informed decisions about their future.
During the inaugural session, Dr. Deepak Kaushal from Dehradun emphasized the growing potential of AI and graphics. Prof. Amol Chincholkar from Pune spoke about global opportunities in art, design, and technology, while Bengaluru-based expert Tanmoy Dey highlighted the evolving educational landscape and the importance of extracurricular engagement.
Students were also offered on-the-spot application opportunities by participating institutions, making the fair both informative and actionable.
Principal Dr. A. S. Gangwar expressed pride in hosting the event, stating, “Today’s world offers a multitude of career avenues. Providing students with accurate and timely information helps them make meaningful choices and pursue the right direction in life.”
