Bokaro: Bharti Sahitya Parishad, Bokaro, celebrated the birth anniversary of Goswami Tulsidas with a poetic tribute and literary discussion on Sunday evening at Sadguru Sadafal Dev Ashram, Sector-5.
The event was presided over by senior litterateur Buddhi Nath Jha and featured a two-part programme comprising a commemorative session and a poetry symposium.
The ceremony began with floral tributes to Goswami Tulsidas ji by chief guest Vinay Kumar Tiwari, chief patron Sukh Nandan Singh ‘Saday’, and other dignitaries including Dr. Parmeshwar Bharti, Dr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Dr. Ram Narayan Singh, Dr. Shyam Sundar Prasad, Rajesh Kumar Gupta, and several noted local poets and scholars.
In the commemorative session, speakers including Omraj, Vinay Tiwari, and Dr. Parmeshwar Bharti reflected on Tulsidas’s spiritual legacy and literary contributions. They lauded his epic Ram Charit Manas as a timeless source of moral and cultural guidance. In his keynote address, Buddhi Nath Jha remarked,
“Tulsi lived through literature, and his literature continues to nourish the soul of India.”
The second session featured a vibrant Kavi Sammelan, inaugurated by Dr. N.K. Rai’s poetic tribute. Poets like Dr. Ranjana Srivastava, Vijay Bahadur Tiwari, Dinanath Thakur, Shailaja Jha, Arun Pathak, Dr. Asha Pushp, and others captivated the audience with their verses in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Maithili, and regional dialects—celebrating Tulsi’s devotion, patriotism, and human values.
