Bokaro: Sanskrit Bharti, Bokaro marked Sanskrit Day with a grand prize distribution ceremony at Shri Ayyappa Public School, Sector 5, honouring 336 winners from 25 schools for excellence in Shlokapath, Sanskrit quiz, speech, group song, and Sanskrit dance.
Chief guest Shashi Bhushan Tripathi, Director of the National Sanskrit Promotion Council, said Sanskrit is the key to making India strong and developed. Keynote speaker Prithviraj Singh urged the public to learn, speak, and promote Sanskrit, while special guest Dr. Chandramadhav Singh highlighted its role in unity and harmony.
President of the event Bhagirath Sharma described Sanskrit as the “Ganga of knowledge” and the soul of Indian philosophy. Environmentalist Shashi Bhushan Ojha Mukul called it the identity of Sanatan culture and a universal language beyond caste or religion.
The event featured Vedic Mangalpath, cultural performances, and felicitation of journalists, school principals, and guests. Sanskrit Bharti, Bokaro President Dr. Ramnarayan Singh welcomed dignitaries, while the programme was coordinated by Dr. Udaychandra Jha and conducted by Dr. Srihari Pandey and Dr. Atmanand Singh Rishi. Proceedings concluded with the Shanti Mantra.
