Another Guinness Record for Ayodhya
Drone-assisted counting confirmed the lighting of 26.11 lakh diyas, a feat certified by Guinness World Records representatives Swapnil Dangarekar and Nischal Barot. It marked Ayodhya’s ninth consecutive world record for the largest display of oil lamps.

2100 Vedacharyas Perform Saryu Aarti
Adding another historic chapter, 2,100 Vedic scholars performed the Saryu Aarti in unison, creating a spellbinding scene of chants and light. Officials said this was the second time such a large-scale Vedic ritual had been successfully organised under the Yogi government. The ceremony concluded with a spectacular fireworks and drone show, painting the night sky with colours of celebration.
Rituals in the Court of Ram Lalla
Earlier in the evening, Chief Minister Adityanath lit the ceremonial lamp in the court of Ram Lalla inside the newly consecrated Ram Mandir. He also presided over the symbolic coronation of Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman, declaring that the festival now stands as a symbol of Ayodhya’s spiritual heritage and modern progress.
City of Faith, Beacon of Light
The entire city—decorated with rangolis, flowers, and colourful illuminations—welcomed lakhs of devotees and tourists from across India and abroad. With every diya glowing in harmony, Ayodhya once again reminded the world that faith, light, and tradition continue to define its eternal spirit.
