Bokaro: Jharkhand’s rising lawn bowls talent, Reshma Kumari, has made India proud by securing the bronze medal in the women’s pairs event at the Hong Kong International Classic Lawn Bowl Championship 2025, held from November 15–23.
The podium finish marks a significant milestone not only for Indian lawn bowling but also for Jharkhand’s growing presence in the sport.
Bokaro Deputy Commissioner Ajay Nath Jha congratulated Reshma on her achievement, praising her commitment and grit:

District Sports Officer Hemlata Bun also lauded her performance, noting that Reshma’s accomplishment will inspire emerging athletes in the region and help foster greater interest in lawn bowls.
