New Delhi: The President of India has approved the appointment of Priya Ranjan as Director-in-Charge of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), according to an official order issued by the Ministry of Steel on December 23, 2025.
Ranjan, who is currently serving as Executive Director at SAIL, will assume charge in the pay scale of ₹1,80,000–3,40,000 (IDA) from the date he takes over. His tenure will continue until his superannuation on December 31, 2029, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment was cleared through the Board Level Appointment Cell under the Ministry of Steel, with detailed terms and conditions to be issued separately.
