Bokaro: The Town Administration–Horticulture Department of Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) will host a two-day flower exhibition, Pushpita-2026, at Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park (JNB Park) on February 21–22, offering residents a platform to display their floral creativity.
The exhibition will allow citizens to present their potted blooms, with a jury selecting three top entries for awards. Winning exhibits will later be showcased at Basant Mela-2026, adding prestige to the competition. The event opens at 10 am on February 21 and concludes with prize distribution at 5 pm on February 22, while visitors can attend from the morning of the opening day.
Participants must submit at least two fully bloomed, non-repeating flower varieties planted individually in painted pots of minimum 10-inch diameter. Each entry should carry identification details and be presented by a representative capable of explaining the display to judges. Flower pots must be deposited by 8:30 am on February 21, with registrations accepted online or offline until February 17 evening.
Organisers said entry cards will be issued to participants for both days, and pots can be collected after the event. The judging panel’s decision will remain final.
