Bokaro: The Bokaro district unit of Sanskar Bharati celebrated the Hindu New Year and Chaitra Navratri with a soulful bhajan programme at the Kali Temple complex in Sector 4G on Thursday morning, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere.
The event began with Arghya offered to the Sun God, followed by a warm welcome from district president Amarji Sinha and general secretary Swarup Shekhar Pandey, who extended festive greetings to attendees.
The programme opened with a choral rendition of Sanskar Bharati’s Dhyeya Geet. This was followed by a series of devotional performances—Amarji Sinha presented Ram bhajans of Tulsidas and Pt. Narendra Sharma, while Arun Pathak rendered Vidyapati’s Maithili composition along with a powerful Durga Vandana. Musical performances by Sanjeev Majumdar, Revant Jayendra, and Anvi Ashi further elevated the spiritual ambience.
The audience was captivated by renditions like “Ambe Charan Kamal Hain Tere,” with Revant Jayendra on tabla and Amarji Sinha on harmonium providing rich musical accompaniment.
Concluding the programme, Swarup Shekhar Pandey delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to Kali Temple priest Girnar Baba, the temple committee, and all participants for making the celebration a success.
