Sanskar Bharati Bokaro Holds Annual General Assembly, Focus on Literature and Music Expansion

Bokaro: The Bokaro district unit of Sanskar Bharati organised its annual general assembly at the Shiv-Hanuman Temple complex in Sector 4-D on Sunday, bringing together artists, poets, musicians, and theatre personalities from across the region.

The meeting was attended by Provincial Vice President and noted musician Mathuresh Verma along with office-bearers and members of the organisation.

During the session, members reviewed the organisation’s cultural and literary activities carried out over the past year and adopted a resolution to further expand programmes related to literature, music, theatre, and traditional Indian art forms. Several new members associated with the organisation were also formally introduced during the gathering.

Addressing the assembly, Verma lauded the Bokaro unit for its active role in promoting cultural awareness and preserving Indian artistic traditions. He said Sanskar Bharati has been continuously working across the country to strengthen India’s cultural roots through art, literature, and music.

He also informed members about the organisation’s upcoming provincial general assembly scheduled to be held in Hazaribagh on June 6 and 7.

Later, District President Amarji Sinha announced the new executive committee of the Bokaro district unit for the term extending up to 2027.

The programme concluded with a collective rendition of Vande Mataram, marking the end of the cultural gathering on a patriotic note.
