New Delhi : The iconic Amrit Udyan, nestled within the Rashtrapati Bhavan complex, will be open to the public from August 16 to September 14, the President’s Secretariat announced on Friday. Entry will be free for all visitors.

The garden will welcome guests daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry permitted at 5:15 PM. However, it will remain closed on Mondays for routine maintenance.

Visitors can book slots online at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in or use self-service kiosks available outside Gate No. 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

This year’s highlights include access to the Bal Vatika, Herbal Garden, and Central Lawn, along with new attractions like the “Babbling Brook”—a serene, meandering water stream featuring cascades and sculptural fountains.

In a special gesture, the garden will grant exclusive access to athletes on August 29 (National Sports Day) and to teachers on September 5 (Teachers’ Day).

Visitors are allowed to carry essential personal items such as mobile phones, electronic keys, handbags, water bottles, baby milk bottles, and umbrellas. Other belongings, however, will not be permitted inside.
