Bokaro: Two distinguished educators from Bokaro, Dr. Nirupama Kumari and Dr. Asha Rani, brought national recognition to Jharkhand as they participated in the prestigious All India Education Conference (ABSS) 2025 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, marking five years of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The conference, inaugurated by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, gathered leading policymakers, educationists, and experts from across India to assess the progress and future roadmap of NEP 2020. Discussions spanned key issues such as digital education, Indian language instruction, secondary education reforms, and AI in learning, alongside achievements of flagship initiatives like Swayam, Parakh, Samarth, and One Nation, One Subscription.
Representing Bokaro, Dr. Nirupama Kumari of Ramrudra Chief Minister Excellence School, Chas (recipient of the National Teacher Award 2020) and Dr. Asha Rani of Plus Two High School, Chandankiyari (honoured with the National Teacher Award 2024) stood out among the nation’s top educators. Both serve as mentors with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and have been instrumental in advancing teacher training across India.
Their presence underscored Bokaro’s rising influence in educational innovation. Known for championing child-centric pedagogy, technological integration, and continuous innovation, the two educators are helping reshape the learning landscape from the grassroots up.
Their participation not only added prestige to Bokaro but also brought statewide pride to Jharkhand, showcasing the region’s growing contribution to India’s evolving education system.
Also representing Jharkhand at the national platform were Manoj Kumar Singh and Shipra Mishra from Jamshedpur, and Arvind Raj Jajware from Deoghar.
