CCL Bids Emotional Farewell to Retiring Employees

Ranchi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) hosted a heartfelt farewell for seven retiring employees at its headquarters, Darbhanga House, in Ranchi. The ceremony, titled “Samman-cum-Vidaay Samaroh,” honored the contributions of Manoj Kumar Sharma, General Manager (Electrical & Mechanical); Anuj Kumar, General Manager (Excavation); Arun Kumar Tiwari, Chief Manager (E&M); Anup Kumar Darad, Office Superintendent at Gandhinagar Hospital; Raj Kumar Bhar, Mechanical Fitter; Samula Ansari, Helper; and Jethu Ram, Safai Mate/Jamadar.

The farewell event was attended by CCL’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Nilendu Kumar Singh, Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) Harish Duhan, and Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) Pankaj Kumar.

Department heads, family members of the retirees, and a significant number of CCL officers and employees were present to celebrate the occasion.

In his address, CMD highlighted the integral role each retiree played in shaping the company’s progress. “You have all been pivotal to CCL’s success, contributing to our goal of producing 100 million tonnes of coal this financial year,” Singh remarked.

He assured retirees that the company remains committed to assisting them in their future endeavors.

Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra praised the retirees for their lasting impact on their respective fields and expressed best wishes for their future. “Your legacy will continue to inspire others,” Mishra said, congratulating them on their retirement.

Director (Technical/Operations) Harish Duhan encouraged retirees to embrace this new phase as an opportunity for joy and societal contribution. “Retirement should be a time for new beginnings and positive contributions to society,” Duhan added.

CVO Pankaj Kumar acknowledged the retirees’ dedication and urged them to enjoy the rewards of their hard work. “It is time to relish the fruits of your labor and spend your well-earned benefits on yourself,” Kumar advised.

During the ceremony, CMD honored the retirees with shawls, coconuts, bouquets, souvenirs, honor letters, and service certificates. A special video presentation highlighted the retirees’ memorable moments and contributions throughout their service.

The program was organized and conducted by Rekha Pandey, Head of Department (Welfare), who also provided the welcome address and vote of thanks. The Welfare Department and other related teams played a crucial role in ensuring the event’s success.
