CCL Organizes Mega Blood Donation Camp on World Blood Donor Day in Ranchi

Ranchi: To mark World Blood Donor Day, a mega blood donation camp was successfully held at the Gandhinagar Hospital Blood Center, operated by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL). The event was inaugurated by CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, with Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra and Director (Technical/Operations) Chandra Shekhar Tiwari also present.

Guided by Dr. Ratnesh Jain, CMS of CCL, the camp collected 40 units of blood, including contributions from 7 women and 33 men. The medical team, including Dr. Anita Kumari, Dr. Khushboo Saran, Dr. Srimoyi Mukherjee, Dr. Mohana Mandal, and the supporting staff, played a key role in its success.

Observed globally on June 14, this year’s theme — “Give blood, give hope: together we save lives” — highlighted the life-saving impact of voluntary blood donors. CCL reaffirmed its commitment to public health and community service through this impactful initiative.
