Srinagar: In a continued crackdown following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have demolished the homes of three more terrorists linked to anti-national activities and terror support, according to media reports.
The demolished houses belonged to Ahsan Sheikh from Pulwama, Shahid Ahmad Kuttay from Shopian, and Zahid Ahmad from Kulgam. Ahsan Sheikh was identified as a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) overground worker who provided logistical support to Pakistani militants involved in the April 22 attack that killed 26 Hindu tourists in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam.

Shahid Kuttay and Zahid Ahmad, though not directly tied to the Pahalgam incident, have been under the scanner for years due to their continued involvement in anti-India activities, sources told Times Now.

This brings the total number of terrorist-linked homes demolished since the attack to five. Earlier this week, security forces had brought down the houses of LeT operatives Asif Sheikh from Tral (Pulwama) and Adil Thoker from Bijbehara (Anantnag), allegedly using explosives. Intelligence reports indicate that Thoker had crossed into Pakistan in 2018 and acted as a guide and logistics handler for Pakistani infiltrators.
In a bid to expedite the investigation, Anantnag Police has announced a cash reward of ₹20 lakh for any information leading to the arrest of three LeT operatives, including Thoker, believed to be masterminds of the Baisaran Valley attack.

The brutal killings have sparked global outrage and pushed India-Pakistan relations into renewed tension, marking the most serious flashpoint since the 2019 Pulwama attack orchestrated by Jaish-e-Mohammed.
