Mumbai: Legendary Bollywood actor Dharmendra, 89, was discharged from the hospital early this morning around 7:30 am, bringing relief to fans and well-wishers across the country.
In an official statement, Dharmendra’s family confirmed his discharge and urged the media and public to avoid unnecessary speculation regarding his health. The statement also expressed heartfelt gratitude to fans for their prayers, good wishes, and unwavering love for the veteran star’s recovery.

Soon after, Hema Malini took to X (formerly Twitter) to slam sections of the media for spreading false reports about Dharmendra’s condition.
“What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy,” she wrote.
