DPS Bokaro Alumnus Dr. Prathyush Madhur Achieves AIR 1 in Surgical Gastroenterology 2024 Examination

Bokaro: In a remarkable achievement, Dr. Prathyush Madhur, an alumnus of DPS Bokaro, has secured the prestigious All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the 2024 Institute of National Importance Super Speciality (INI-SS) MCh Surgical Gastroenterology Examination. His exceptional performance has brought immense pride to his alma mater and the state of Jharkhand.

The INI-SS MCh examination, held annually by renowned institutions such as AIIMS, JIPMER, and PGIMER, is known for its highly competitive nature and rigorous selection process. Dr. Prathyush’s top rank in this examination underscores his academic brilliance, perseverance, and dedication to his field.

A graduate of the 2002 batch from DPS Bokaro, Dr. Prathyush is currently serving as a Lieutenant Colonel in Jammu and Kashmir and is a General Surgeon in the Indian Army. His success in the examination, which offers admission to some of the nation’s most prestigious medical institutions for super-speciality courses, is a testament to his hard work and focus on his goals.

Reflecting on his journey, Dr. Prathyush credited his early education at DPS Bokaro for laying the solid academic foundation that nurtured his ambition to excel in the medical profession.
