Dr. Gangwar Credits DPS Bokaro Community for the Honour
Bokaro: In a proud moment for Jharkhand, Dr. A. S. Gangwar, Principal of Delhi Public School, Bokaro Steel City, has been conferred the prestigious Bharatiya Gaurav Samman 2025. The award was presented at the 17th Education Leadership Conclave, held at Jayadev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
Organised by the Centre for Educational Development, a training and assessment unit recognised under MSME, NITI Aayog, the conclave celebrates outstanding contributions of visionary educationists across India. Dr. Gangwar stood out as the sole recipient from Jharkhand and one of only six personalities nationwide, chosen from over 2,500 entries spanning multiple categories.
The event was graced by eminent personalities, including Dr. Hrushikesh Senapati, former NCERT Director; Dr. Shankar Goenka, MD of WOW Foundation; MLA Babu Singh; BJP leader Smruti Patnaik; and Dr. Priyadarshi Nayak, Chairman of Sahodaya School Complex, Eastern Odisha.
Dr. Gangwar was honoured for his pioneering role in implementing NEP 2020 at DPS Bokaro over the past five years. Under his leadership, the school has seamlessly blended technology and experiential learning, equipping students with practical skills through facilities like the Composite Skill Lab, Virtual Reality Lab, and Robotics Lab. This approach fosters innovation, critical thinking, and holistic development.
Expressing gratitude, Dr. Gangwar dedicated the accolade to the entire DPS Bokaro community. “This honour is a reflection of the collective effort of our students, teachers, parents, and all stakeholders. Their trust inspires me to push boundaries and embrace new challenges,” he said.
