Jamshedpur: Dr. Ranjeet Kumar Singh, Senior Principal Scientist at the CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (CSIR-NML), has been awarded the prestigious National Geoscience Award 2024 by the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. The award was conferred by the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, in recognition of his remarkable contributions in Mineral Beneficiation and Sustainable Mineral Development.

Dr. Singh has played a pivotal role in developing innovative process flowsheets for the beneficiation of ferrous, non-ferrous ores, minerals, and coal, making a significant impact on the nation’s mineral resource efficiency and sustainability goals.

This national honour is the latest in a series of accolades for Dr. Singh, who earlier received the CSIR Technology Award 2022 and the prestigious Raman Research Fellowship 2024.
