Bokaro: Giridih MP Chandra Prakash Chaudhary, along with Mukhiya Rekha Devi, inaugurated two newly constructed bathing ghats between Gosaidih and Mangal Dahi villages under the Chandrapura block.
The project was executed by the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) wing of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC), Chandrapura Thermal Power Station.
Speaking at the event, MP Chaudhary praised DVC’s significant role in social and national service, calling for collective efforts to further strengthen the institution. He credited society’s positive approach for DVC’s continued developmental contributions in the region.
Senior General Manager and Project Head, Vijaya Nand Sharma, reflected on DVC’s 78-year journey and its repeated recognition among the country’s top 10 power plants. He emphasized ongoing public cooperation in sustaining DVC’s growth and commitment to community welfare.
The inauguration was part of DVC’s Foundation Day closing ceremony, held at the Officers Club, where outstanding students from the area were also felicitated by the dignitaries.
The event witnessed the presence of several local leaders and officials including Wigan Mahato, Arvind Pandey, Jadu Mahato, Manager Shrivatsa, Akshay Kumar and Prafullu Bhandari.
