New Delhi: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a marginal revision in the fee for the FASTag Annual Pass for the financial year 2026–27. The pass will now cost ₹3,075, up from the current ₹3,000, reflecting an increase of ₹75.
According to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the revised fee will come into effect from the first day of next month and will apply to eligible non-commercial vehicles equipped with a valid FASTag.
Applicable Across 1,000+ Toll Plazas
The updated rate will be applicable at more than 1,000 fee plazas located across National Highways and National Expressways operated under the NHAI network. Vehicle owners opting for the annual pass facility will be required to pay the revised amount to continue using the scheme.
One-Time Payment for Seamless Travel
The FASTag Annual Pass allows vehicle owners to avoid frequent recharges by making a one-time payment valid for one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever occurs earlier. The facility is designed to simplify toll payments and provide a hassle-free travel experience for regular highway users.
Officials said the scheme continues to be available only for non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag, enabling them to pass through toll plazas without repeated top-ups during the validity period.
The FASTag system, introduced to promote cashless and faster toll collection, has significantly reduced waiting time at toll plazas and improved traffic movement across the country’s highway network.
