New Delhi: In a decisive move to counter terrorism, India has initiated an extensive international outreach under the banner of Operation Sindoor, aimed at highlighting Pakistan’s role in sponsoring terror activities. Seven multi-party delegations have been formed to engage with the global community, sharing India’s strong stance of zero tolerance towards terrorism and providing detailed insights into the successful anti-terror operations conducted.
Two of these delegations set off today on diplomatic missions to key nations. One, led by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, embarks on a five-nation tour covering Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, and Singapore.
The second delegation, headed by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, will visit the UAE, Liberia, Congo, and Sierra Leone.
Both groups aim to reinforce New Delhi’s commitment to combating all forms of terrorism.
Ahead of his delegation’s departure, Jha told reporters that terrorism is embedded in Pakistan’s state policy, and the delegations are tasked with exposing Islamabad’s continuous sponsorship of terror.
According to sources, these delegations will visit 32 countries within two weeks, engaging with diplomats, lawmakers, media, civil society groups, and Indian diaspora communities. The strategic outreach seeks to isolate Pakistan internationally by exposing its propagation of terrorism from within its borders.
