To fast-track these initiatives, Singh announced the setting up of a new Defence Wing at the Indian Embassy in Rabat. He also pitched India’s advanced defence manufacturing capabilities — including cutting-edge drone and counter-drone systems — assuring Morocco that Indian firms are ready to cater to its military needs.
Both leaders underlined the importance of joint development and production in defence technologies, expanded training programmes, and enhanced military-to-military exchanges. They further stressed the urgency of multilateral cooperation to address global and regional threats, while highlighting the need for tighter coordination in the strategically vital Indian Ocean and Atlantic corridors.
Singh extended an invitation to Loudiyi to visit India for further talks, signalling New Delhi’s intent to deepen defence partnership with Rabat.
The meeting marks a milestone in India-Morocco relations, reflecting a growing convergence of strategic interests between the two nations.
