New Delhi/Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders on Monday thanked voters in Maharashtra for delivering a decisive mandate to the BJP-led Mahayuti in the Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat elections, calling the verdict an endorsement of people-centric governance and development politics.

In a message posted on social media, Prime Minister Modi said the victory reflects public trust in the vision of inclusive development and praised BJP and Mahayuti workers for their tireless grassroots efforts. He added that the government would work with renewed energy to fulfil the aspirations of every citizen across the state.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah described the outcome as a triumph of politics rooted in good governance, development, and public welfare. BJP president J P Nadda said the results underline the people’s continued faith in the welfare-oriented policies of the “double-engine government” under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.

BJP National Working President Nitin Nabin echoed the sentiment, stating that the Mahayuti’s success in local body polls reflects the trust and blessings of the people in the NDA government.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi also expressed gratitude to voters in Arunachal Pradesh following the BJP’s strong performance in the Panchayat elections. In a separate social media post, he said the mandate strengthens the resolve to accelerate the state’s transformation and thanked party workers for their dedicated outreach among the people.

The twin victories, party leaders said, reaffirm growing public support for the BJP’s governance model at both the grassroots and state levels.
