Bokaro: In a compassionate outreach drive, Mithila Mahila Samiti, the women’s wing of the Mithila Cultural Council, distributed blankets to the needy on Thursday afternoon.
Led by President Poonam Mishra and Secretary Abha Jha, a large team of committee members — including Dr. Manju Jha, Sheela Mishra, Indira Jha, Seema Jha, Asha Jha, Beenu Chaudhary, Beena Jha, Ruby Thakur, Poonam Jha, Prerna Ojha, Bandana Jha, Aparna Jha, Babita Jha, Ritu Mishra, Kiran Jha, Kumkum Jha, Alka Jha, Leela Jha and others — visited Sector 4 Sai Temple, Sector 4 City Centre and the Jagannath Temple complex.
The group distributed blankets to economically disadvantaged individuals, aiming to provide relief during the winter season and uphold the Samiti’s tradition of social service.
