PM Modi Offers Support to Bangladesh After Deadly Dhaka Jet Crash Kills 20

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity with Bangladesh following a tragic Air Force training jet crash in Dhaka’s Diabari area that claimed at least 20 lives, including several young students.

In a message posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi expressed deep sorrow over the incident and offered India’s full support in rescue and relief efforts.

“Deeply shocked and saddened at the loss of lives, many of them young students, in a tragic air crash in Dhaka. Our hearts go out to the bereaved families. We pray for the swift recovery of those injured. India stands in solidarity with Bangladesh and is ready to extend all possible support and assistance,” the Prime Minister wrote.

The ill-fated aircraft reportedly crashed during a routine training session, leading to a massive explosion and fire in the densely populated Diabari locality. Emergency response teams continue rescue operations at the site, with several people critically injured.

PM Modi’s statement reflects New Delhi’s continued commitment to humanitarian cooperation and its longstanding ties with Dhaka.
