Washington: The United States has announced a reward of up to $10 million for information about Iran’s newly installed Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei and several senior officials allegedly linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
The announcement was made through the US State Department’s “Rewards for Justice” programme, which released a public notice seeking information on key individuals believed to be associated with the leadership and operational network of the IRGC.

Key Iranian Officials Named in the Notice
According to the notice issued by the Diplomatic Security Service, several high-ranking Iranian officials have been listed as individuals of interest. These include Ali Asghar Hejazi, the deputy chief of staff under Iran’s late supreme leader, and senior security figure Ali Larijani.
The list also names Yahya Rahim Safavi, a senior military adviser to the supreme leader, along with Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni and Intelligence Minister Esmail Khatib.
Several Strategic Positions Also Targeted
Apart from the named individuals, the announcement also refers to several influential positions within Iran’s power structure without identifying specific officeholders. These include the secretary of the Supreme Defense Council, the head of the Supreme Leader’s military office, the commander-in-chief of the IRGC, and a senior adviser to the supreme leader.
US Accuses IRGC of Global Terror Activities
In the statement accompanying the notice, US authorities alleged that the individuals listed are responsible for directing various branches of the IRGC, which Washington accuses of planning and executing terrorist activities worldwide.
The programme has urged anyone with credible information on these leaders or IRGC operations to share details through secure channels, including a Tor-based tipline or encrypted messaging platforms.
Officials added that individuals providing actionable intelligence could be eligible for relocation as well as a financial reward under the programme.
The move underscores escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, as the United States intensifies efforts to track and disrupt networks linked to the IRGC’s global activities.
