Bokaro: A nude video of a Bokaro BJP MLA went viral on social media on Saturday night. MLA Viranchi Narayan lodged a complaint at City police station against his opponents (unidentified) accusing them of maligning his reputation.
MLA who represents Bokaro assembly seat is seen completely nude in the video. While trying to contact MLA his mobile got switched off. However, one of the representatives of the legislator alleged that the video was ‘doctored’ and featured MLA’s face on the other person in the video. “This is the work of our rivals, although it’s a matter of investigation,” said Sanjay Tyagi representative of the MLA.
They have lodged a case at the city police station last night against unidentified persons under the Indian Penal Code Section 500 (defamation), police said.
MLA alleged that it was a conspiracy by his opponents taking into account the next month’s state assembly election. Notably, The four assembly constituencies of Bokaro district are scheduled to go for poll on 12 (Bermo & Gomia) and 16 December (Bokaro & Chandankiyari) respectively.
In connection with the viral video, a case has been registered against the unknown, said P Murugun SP Bokaro. “Only after investigation, it will be clear what the truth is,” added SP.
