DPS Bokaro Students Qualifies for German International Youth Camp

dps-bokaro-students-selected-for-international-youth-camp-in-germany-along-with-dr-hemlata-s-mohanBokaro: Adding another feather to its cap of glory, three Bokaro students, Anushka Srivastava, Mitali Singh and Gaurav Kumar Singh selected to participate in the prestigious International Youth Camp to be held at St. Peter-Ording I, Germany from 5 to 25 May this year.

All of them are students of class IX of DPS Bokaro. This camp is a part of the scholarship offered to those students who have excelled in German language studies at the state level; hence, all expenses pertaining to the trip including flight tickets, food and lodging, travel insurance would be borne by Goethe-Institut, informed PR official. These students qualified a challenging selection test (online) followed by an interview over Skype to make to way to Deutschland, he said.

It’s worth mentioning here that every year Goethe-Institut organizes these camps in Germany for students from more than 1800 schools all over the global countries which are a part of the PASCH network worldwide.

“During this 20 days camp, the students not only get the opportunity to brush up their language skills but also take part in many fun activities like workshops, quiz, film show, excursions etc. They also gain firsthand knowledge about the language, culture, people of that country” informed Amit Kumar Singh, the German Language teacher, DPS Bokaro.

Expressing her happiness, Dr. Hemlata S Mohan, Director & Principal, DPS Bokaro said that this success is the result of the relentless efforts of the students and the perseverance of their teacher. The entire DPS Bokaro family is proud of this success. “Being a part of the PASCH network brings many joys to its students and one of them is the opportunity to take part in an international youth camp in Germany,” she added.
