New Tourism Logo and Website to Promote Jharkhand Globally
Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday handed over appointment letters to 19 newly recruited candidates of the Urban Development and Housing Department and launched the revamped logo and official website of Jharkhand Tourism and the Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation (JTDC).
Calling it a major step toward urban progress and global tourism promotion, CM Soren urged the new appointees to serve the state with “dedication and efficiency.” Addressing them at the Jharkhand Ministry, he emphasized their key role in providing modern civic services amid rising urban migration.
“Unplanned urban expansion risks future crises. Systematic city planning is essential for sustainable development and quality urban living,” Soren said.
On tourism, the Chief Minister highlighted Jharkhand’s rich natural beauty and cultural heritage as untapped assets. “The new tourism logo and website will showcase our landscapes and heritage to the world, boosting Jharkhand’s visibility and attracting visitors globally,” he stated.
Soren further noted that tourism growth will not only elevate the state’s image but also stimulate the economy, create jobs, and promote local products, especially benefiting rural communities.
