Bokaro: In a significant professional milestone, the Supreme Court of India has recognised Dr. A.S. Gangwar, Principal of Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro, as a Certified Mediator under its Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee (MCPC). With this empanelment, Dr. Gangwar is now eligible to mediate cases referred by mediation centres from the Apex Court to district courts across the country.

The certification follows Dr. Gangwar’s successful completion of an intensive 40-hour specialised training conducted in hybrid mode, along with a two-day offline practical programme held at the Supreme Court. The advanced training sessions saw participation from distinguished legal luminaries, including High Court judges, sitting judges, retired IPS officers and senior advocates.

The programme, organised by the MCPC — an initiative of the Supreme Court — aims to strengthen court-annexed mediation, reduce case pendency, promote amicable dispute resolution and build a robust nationwide pool of trained mediators. The comprehensive training ran from December 18, 2025, to February 21, 2026.

The sessions were led by accredited MCPC trainers, including Ms. Ila Rawat and Mr. Rajeev Thukral.

Reacting to the recognition, Dr. Gangwar described the certification as not just a professional honour but a solemn responsibility to serve the nation through the MCPC platform. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the teachers, students, parents and stakeholders of DPS Bokaro, crediting their constant support and encouragement for the achievement.
