He was the Chief Guest in an investiture ceremony held at DPS Bokaro on Friday. Aiming to inculcate leadership quality among the students, school today appointed Student Council Office Bearers and conferred badges to the newly elected students in the ceremony.

Soham Mohanty got elected for the post of ‘head boy’ while Stuti Taneja for ‘head girl’. Besides, Musharaf Nasar and Samridh Ranjan have been elected as Vice Head Boys while Rakhi and Tishya Viswanath have been elected as Vice Head Girls of the School.

SP congratulated the newly elected members for their new roles and bigger responsibilities ahead. Elated to be a part of the event, Kartik said it was nice to be a part of the ceremony and was looking forward to associating with the school and its students.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan, the Director and Principal of the school, inspired the council members and students to rise up to the responsibilities required by their posts.

“The students today are going to become the citizens tomorrow and we believe every student has the potential to emerge as a leader and be a service to the society,” she added.

Beside others, Vice Principals Pravin Sharma, Dr. Manisha Tiwari, Headmaster Anjani Bhushan, Headmistresses Manisha Sharma and Shalini Sharma were also present along with the house wardens on the occasion.
