Bokaro: Marking the auspicious occasion of Akshay Tritiya, the Bokaro unit of the Sakhi Bahinpa Maithilani Group organized a community service drive, distributing cold beverages and biscuits to passersby near Surya Mandir Sector 4F on Sunday.
The initiative was led by district in-charge Amita Jha, along with senior members including Kiran Mishra, Dr. Manju Jha, Namita Jha, Indira Jha, and Asha Jha. Cultural in-charge Jayanti Pathak and media in-charge Sanjita Bhuvnesh were also present.
Amita Jha said the programme was part of the group’s annual tradition of celebrating Akshay Tritiya through social service. She added that the organization regularly conducts such initiatives alongside efforts to promote Mithila art and culture.
The event reflected a blend of festivity and community outreach, drawing participation from members committed to social and cultural causes.
