Bokaro: Chinmay Vidyalaya in Bokaro has made history by becoming the first and only school in Jharkhand to receive accreditation from the National Accreditation Board of Education and Training (NABET).
The announcement was made during a special prayer service held in the school’s newly built auditorium. Vishwaroop Upadhyay, Chairman of the School Committee and Director of the Eastern Region of Chinmay Education Cell, expressed joy and pride in this achievement, stating that NABET’s accreditation is a testament to the school’s commitment to providing quality education.
He highlighted NABET’s role as a constitutional entity of the Quality Circle of India, Government of India, which aims to enhance India’s education system to world-class standards through accreditation and training.
The accreditation was received with cheers and congratulations from teachers, staff, and students present at the event. School Secretary Mahesh Tripathi praised Upadhyay for his leadership and oversight of the accreditation process, emphasizing that the entire Chinmaya family celebrates this significant achievement.
Principal Suraj Sharma congratulated Upadhyay, HRD department head Supriya Chaudhary, and all the teaching and non-teaching staff on this milestone, noting that Chinmay Vidyalaya is not only the first school in Jharkhand but also one of the few national institutes to receive NABET accreditation. He also highlighted that the school has been recognized as a New Generation School by the British Council and CBSE, further adding to its reputation.
Sharma acknowledged that while this accreditation is a significant achievement, there is still room for growth and improvement. He urged everyone to continue working hard towards this goal. He dedicated the feat to the revered Gurudev Swami Chinmayanand Saraswati and his teachings, emphasizing the school’s commitment to holistic education.
NABET officially congratulated Chinmay Vidyalaya on its accreditation, recognizing it as a jewel in Bokaro, Jharkhand, whose reputation is spreading across India.
