DPS, Bokaro becomes State Champion in ‘Green Olympiad’, ‘International Commerce Olympiad’

Stuti got the National Rank 6 in this event for which she was awarded with the merit certificate, gold medal and a wristwatch, school authority informed.

New Delhi based Humming Bird organizes International Commerce Olympiad for the students of classes XI and XII every year, he said.

DPS, Bokaro also declared the state champion in Green Olympiad, organised in the month of October, last year by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) whose results were declared on Wednesday.

More than hundreds of schools from all over the country and abroad participated in the Olympiad which is held on three levels – primary, middle and higher classes which are recognized as level – 1 (class IV & V), level – 2 (class VI-VIII) and level – 3 (class IX & X) respectively, informed the authority.

“DPS, Bokaro has been declared the state winner in the level one and level three whose students Krish Kejaria was declared the state champion in level – 1 while Yash Vardhan was declared the state champion in level – 3,” he added.

The exam is conducted for Educating Youth on Sustainable Development by the division of TERI and attracts participation from lakhs of students across the globe.

Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan congratulated the successful students and wished them luck for their future.
