DPS Bokaro hosted on-Spot Painting competition

JNS: The Interschool ‘On the Spot Painting Competition’ was organized in the Kalidas Kala Bhawan of DPS Bokaro today. The competition was organized under the aegis of ‘Hub of Learning Programme’, a CBSE initiative for the holistic development of students.

Students from different schools of the Bokaro district participated in this competition, which was held in two categories: Group A – Classes VI to VIII & Group B- Classes IX to XII. Renowned artists Ranjeet Kumar and Anita Kumari judged the event.

Inaugurating the competition, Dr. A. S. Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro said, “Spontaneous response to any situation develops the conscience of an individual. A person with insight always displays confidence and is in harmony with himself as well as the society.”

In the Junior Category, Kaushiki Kumari of Class VIII, DPS Bokaro and Mausam Kumari of Class VIII, Rukmini Devi Public School, jointly bagged the First Position. Lucky Kumar of Class VI, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Public School secured the Second Position and Bhoomi Kumari of Class VIII, Kendriya Vidyalaya -1, Bokaro secured the Third Position.

While, in the Senior Category, Arijit Anukul of Class X, DPS Bokaro was declared First while Piyush Kumar of Class IX, DPS Bokaro bagged the Second Position and Sonam Kumari of Class X, Kendriya Vidyalaya – 1, Bokaro secured the Third Position.
