Bokaro: Delhi Public School Bokaro enshrined the success stories of students in a special prize distribution ceremony hailed ‘Medha…The Prowess’ on 1st May 2019 in Kalidas Kala Bhawan.
Chief Guest, Kripa Nand Jha, IAS, DC Bokaro graced the occasion. Various Principals of Dr. Radhakrishnan Sahodaya School Complex also added charm to the celebration with their benign presence. The ceremony began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp followed by the melodious rendition of the welcome song and the school song. The Vice Head Girl Rakhi presented the welcome address.
The graceful moves of the energetic dance-‘Shree Ramchandra’, depicting the harmony of creation and victory of good over evil, captivated the audience.
The Principal, DPS Bokaro, A. S. Gangwar extended a warm welcome to everyone and said that the ability to stay calm, collected yet focused is the hallmark of a truly successful individual. We must not forget that every child is unique and must be nurtured accordingly. He apprised the audience that MEDHA is amongst the several endeavours of the school to bring out the intrinsic potential of every child.
The prize distribution ceremony witnessed the excellence achieved by the meritorious, resolute and committed students. 52 students received the awards for their outstanding achievements in various scholastic and co-scholastic areas. During the occasion, the quarterly brochure Zenith was released by the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest addressed the gathering and congratulated the Principal for his visionary stewardship. He expressed his delight over the myriad achievements of the students in diverse fields. The Chief Guest complimented the school fraternity for the wonderful show and said that his visit was worthwhile and he has been invigorated by the outstanding achievements of the students.
The ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Vice Head Boy, Samriddh Ranjan.
